Rental Advertising Guidelines
Rental Advertising Guidelines of Peter Campbell Realty.
- We shall not use rental range in advertising an that the highest price a
client (the owner) wants for their rental property is advertised from the
outset.
- We shall not advertise property at a lower price than it will be let –
that constitutes bait advertising.
How We Work
- Obtain specific advice from the client (the owner) about what rent they
want to receive for their property and advertise the highest instructed amount.
- Communicate all expressions of interest to the client, provided they are
on a signed tenancy application form.
- Tell the client if the rental price expected by the client is substantially
more or less than the market rental of the property.
- The price at which an agency offered the property for rent shall be in accordance
with the client’s written instructions.
Our Code of Conduct
- Act honestly, fairly and professionally in the conduct of real estate agency
practice.
- Act in the client’s best interest unless it is unlawful or unreasonable
to do so.
- Not market, or advertise for lease, property at a price, or on terms, different
from the terms authorised by the client.
- Immediately communicate to the client each written expression of interest,
each about the lease of a property (unless directed otherwise in writing by
the client).
