Peter Campbell
Peter Campbell is a third generation resident, of Albany Creek. His early working life included labouring on the family Mahaca Poultry Farm, wool industry clerk, auctioneer and computer input operator in Eagle Street. In 1969 Peter made his first land sale and in 1970 worked two jobs, studied for and obtained his Real Estate License and made the career decision, for a lifetime in Real Estate.
Peter has been passionately involved, as a 3 time, President of local Real Estate Institute Branches; Vice President for Queensland, Education officer of REIQ (introduced minimum educational standards for real estate agents in conjunction with TAFE); Chairperson of the Agency Complaints and Ethics Tribunal and has been awarded with the distinction of “Fellow”.
He continues to be a presenter and guest speaker at seminars, club meetings and is sought out as an experienced patient private negotiator for special needs groups including family law matters, nursing home entry and home disposal, deceased estates property disposals, in all northside suburbs.
From 1976 to 1981, as elected Councillor of Pine Rivers, chairman of the Health Building and Town Planning committees’, Peter was totally involved with the strategic planning if the Shire and played a major role in negotiating with develops for the provision of usable parklands and better land subdivisions.
From 1985 onwards as marketing agent for land estates such as Albany Forest, Albany Parkside, Woodhaven, Elizabeth Gardens, Peter has sold 3250 vacant blocks as a project manager.
The 2007 Queens Birthday Honour of OAM, recognised service to the real estate industry and well as a lifetime continuing involvement by means of establishment of and support or membership of the Progress Association, Community Centre, Pre School, National Seniors, Garden Club, Youth BMX and Skateboard competitions, Scouts, JP group, and many other community organizations.
Peter since 1980 has been President of the Queensland Youth Music Awards and that stages a 31 evening competition that annually attracts more than 15000 primary and secondary school performers.
