THE COMMUNITY AGENT
Peter Campbell is
a third generation resident, of Albany Creek, his early working life included
laboring on the family Mahaca Poultry Farm, wool industry clerk, auctioneer and
computer input operator in Eagle Street. In 1969 Peter made his first land sale
and in 1970 worked two jobs, obtained his Real Estate License (4 nights a week)
and made the career decision for a lifetime in Real Estate.
Community involvement
has included:
Presidency of
the Albany Creek Pre-School and Albany Creek Progress Association,
Elected Councillor of Pine Rivers Shire Council, Chairman Library Committee
(established first mobile library), Health Building and Town planning committee,
Deputy Shire Chairman.
QLD President
of the Young Liberal Movement, member of State Executive, State Vice President
of REIQ, Chairman of Education Committee, Chairman of Agency Complaints and
Ethics Tribunal, member of TAFE sub-committee that lead to establishment of
minimum education standards for agents.
President since
1980 of Queensland Youth Music Awards that stages annual 30 day Festival of
music for school children and organizer since 1976.
Co-sponsor of
community events like Weekly Brass Bands in parksl; local National Seniors;
Garden Club; Scouts; Uniting Church garage sales and Albany Creek High Schools
anniversary.

- 3.30pm on Saturdays.
