Matt was a great man who will be missed but never forgotten. I feel honoured to have known him and to witness, first hand, all the good deeds he did for so many people.

As Christmas approaches, I smile every time I hear ‘Partridge in a Pear Tree.’ I recall with glee, Matt and Hazel signing it at one of your Christmas Parties.

You may not be aware that I phoned Matt several times when Suzanne was fighting her battle with Cancer. His wise words gave me great comfort during the period. He even organised several prayer meetings which meant so much at that time.

I will be remembering all the good times when Matt and I shared a laugh. He really did have a wicked sense of humour at times.

Our sincere sympathy goes out to you and the family at this time of sorrow. Matt was loved and respected by so many, his memory will live on.
