Youth
Of the Year Awards for Secondary Soloists - Click
here Two bursaries will be presented to a vocalist and an instrumentalist selected from the soloist sections of the secondary schools contest. The recipients will each receive a bursary of $700 to be used in the advancement of the musical careers. The award shall be known as the youth of the year awards. The section 14 and section 17 awards are open to secondary school students only. Announcement of those three winners will be made when the relevant section is completed. Previous winners of the youth of the year awards are not eligible. |

Bursary - Click here Two bursary awards each of $250 will be awarded by the adjudicators in sections 1 and 12. The Peter Campbell bursaries are open to primary school students only and are to be used in the advancement of musical careers. |
| Note: nursery education takes into account several factors other than the performance proficiency. Therefore play sketches in sections 1,12,14 and 17 may not necessarily win bursary. |
